VIETNAM GOLF TOURISM ASSOCIATION

The Vietnam Golf Tourism Association (VTGA) was established in April 2019 as a professional socio-occupational organization operating under the Vietnam Tourism Association (VITA). The Association serves as a national industry platform dedicated to promoting the sustainable growth of golf tourism in Vietnam and strengthening cooperation across the country’s golf, tourism, hospitality, and destination sectors.

VTGA brings together a diverse network of stakeholders throughout the Vietnam golf and tourism industry, including tourism authorities, golf courses, golf clubs, golf resorts, travel and tour operators, destination management companies, hotels and hospitality groups, airlines and transportation partners, tourism destinations, integrated resorts, golfers, golf professionals, industry experts, investors, and businesses involved in golf, travel, leisure, and tourism.

With Vietnam increasingly recognized as one of Asia’s most attractive emerging golf destinations, VTGA works to connect the country’s expanding network of golf courses and golf destinations with domestic and international tourism markets. The Association supports the development of high-quality golf tourism products and experiences that combine championship golf courses, luxury golf resorts, premium hospitality, local culture, gastronomy, heritage, nature, and destination experiences.

DEVELOPING VIETNAM AS A LEADING GOLF TOURISM DESTINATION

The mission of VTGA is to contribute to the long-term and sustainable development of Vietnam golf tourism while positioning Vietnam as a competitive and distinctive international golf destination.

Through collaboration with tourism authorities, golf courses, golf clubs, golf resorts, hotels, travel companies, destination partners, and international golf organizations, VTGA promotes greater connectivity between golf and tourism, helping transform golf into an important component of Vietnam’s tourism economy.

The Association promotes golf destinations throughout Vietnam, connecting golfers and international golf travelers with destinations across the country and showcasing the diversity of golf experiences in Vietnam — from coastal golf courses and integrated golf resorts to mountain golf destinations, urban golf clubs, and championship golf courses designed by internationally recognized golf course architects.

VTGA also encourages the development of multi-destination Vietnam golf tours and golf holidays, allowing international golfers to experience multiple golf courses while discovering Vietnam’s culture, cuisine, heritage, hospitality, and tourism attractions.
